При винесенні в установленому порядку рішення про організацію дитячого будинку сімейного типу особам, які призначені батьками-вихователями, для спільного проживання з дітьми, переданими їм на виховання, надається поза чергою індивідуальний жилий будинок або багатокімнатна квартира за нормою, що встановлюється Кабінетом Міністрів України.

Користування наданим жилим приміщенням здійснюється в порядку, встановленому законодавством для користування службовими жилими приміщеннями.
