Ukrainian legislation and case law in ChatGPT
Connect the Merit MCP server to ChatGPT. The assistant then finds articles of laws in their edition on the date you need, Supreme Court positions and state register entries, and shows the source of each answer.
Who can connect
- ChatGPT connects custom MCP servers in Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces, on the web.
- On Business, an admin or owner of the workspace adds the server and publishes it for the team. On Enterprise/Edu, an admin can give this right to selected members.
- The ChatGPT mobile app does not let you add a custom MCP server.
How to connect
Server address:

- Open Plugins, click + → Add custom MCP server.
- Name:
Merit. Under Connection, paste the server address above. - Pick OAuth sign-in. Read the warning and tick I understand and want to continue.
- Click Create as a plugin and check the list of tools.
- Publish the plugin for the workspace, so that your colleagues can use it.
Each member
- Find Merit in Settings → Plugins, install it and sign in to the Merit account.
Sign-in to the Merit account
- The client opens the sign-in page on merit.legal.
- Enter your e-mail. The first time, accept the public offer and the privacy policy.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the e-mail, or open the link in the same e-mail.
- On the consent page, check the name of the app and the address you return to, and click «Дозволити» (Allow).
You do not copy a key. Requests work when the account has an active plan.
How to use it
In a new chat, type @ and pick Merit. The choice applies to one message: for a new question to the registers, mention Merit again.
What you can ask
Ask as you ask a colleague, in English or in Ukrainian. The assistant picks the tools of the server and shows the calls it made.

How to disconnect
- Remove the Merit connector in the settings of the assistant.
- Turn the connection off in the account: «Підключення» (Connections) → «Вимкнути» (Turn off). Then the server accepts no request of that connection.
